The NCBLPC has discontinued issuing renewal certificates. Your license card is proof of licensure. If you would like an honorary renewal certificate, you may request one complimentary certificate by contacting Marie Garland at garland@ncblpc.org.

Individuals must have an active license in order to practice counseling in North Carolina.

While the license is active it is important to ensure you are properly maintaining your license and keeping your records up-to-date. Select the appropriate license below to find out more information about how to maintain your license, including such topics as:
